This weekend I participated in an art fair at Edwards Place. It's on the grounds where there stands an historic old home where Abraham Lincoln met Mary Todd. All in all it was a good experience, but it was so hot, and barely a breeze. I was drenched in sweat, and we lost a piece of equipment for reading credit cards. But we met a guy who I will refer to here as N.G.. He collects art and likes realist paintings also. Marcia and I were pleased as we were trying to connect with him for a while. Well, we didn't sell any paintings this weekend, but we did sell a print at Art-Z studio, the gallery currently exhibiting my work. Next Friday Marcia and I are taking a day trip to Chicago to see an exhibit by Bruno Surdo. More on that later.
